Welcome to the website of the International School of Atyrau! Thank you for stopping by!  

Our school is a special place where children from all over the world come together to learn, grow, and become amazing people. Our student-centered and student-focused approach to education provides children with a supportive learning environment built to both enrich and assist in all subject areas. Our qualified faculty is dedicated to helping each child reach their potential. All teachers at our school are licensed educators with years of experience caring for and educating children from all over the world. 

Beyond our rigorous educational curriculum, the Success Orientations of Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Kindness & Politeness, Independent Endeavor, Aesthetic Appreciation, Group Interaction, and Concern for Others keep our school focused on positive character development throughout the year. These traits are taught and integrated into all aspects of daily school life. We also offer rich extracurricular options such as sports, art, music, and drama. 

Located in Atyrau, Kazakhstan on the northern border of the Caspian Sea, our school offers a Pre-K 3 through Secondary IV American Curriculum program.  With a campus of more than 17 acres, our facilities include a soccer (football) pitch and track, full gymnasium, theater, cafeteria, a full English library, and two computer labs with a maker space and 3-D printer. Art, music, P.E., technology (ICT), library, and Languages Other than English are part of the educational program (Russian, Kazakh, and Dutch) for students in the 5- year- old class and above. English is the language of instruction. Intensive English classes are available and part of the regular school day for students who need support in learning English.
