Advanced Placement Program (AP)
  • *More than 600 institutions in 66 countries outside of the United States that recognize AP exam scores

Benefits of AP
  • Looks good on a transcript and college application.

  • Potential to bypass introductory-level courses

  • Receive credit toward undergraduate degree

As small school we will offer as many AP courses as we have instructors. If we cannot offer the AP course, we may be able to offer it through our QSI Virtual School.

What is the AP Capstone?

AP Capstone™ is a diploma program from the College Board. It’s based on two yearlong AP courses: AP Seminar and AP Research.

Rather than teaching subject-specific content, these courses develop students’ skills in research, analysis, evidence-based arguments, collaboration, writing, and presenting.

Students who complete the two-year program can earn one of two different AP Capstone awards, which are valued by colleges across the United States and around the world.

AP CAPSTONE PROGRAM

QSI International School of Atyrau is proud to offer the rigorous Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone Diploma Program.

AP Capstone is a new program from College Board that prepares students for the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are in line with what universities are increasingly seeking.

The program promotes curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical evidence-based decisions.

AP Capstone is centered around two AP courses—AP Seminar and AP Research—and is designed to complement and enhance the discipline-specific study in other AP courses.
